一、教学内容分析
课文内容与师生的生活息息相关，文中人物围绕周末谈论活动计划，并礼貌地邀请他人参与活动。文本的对话主要运用了一般将来时态，采用了特殊疑问句和一般疑问句，以询问他人的周末计划，并在表达活动安排中出现了几个新的动词短语，另外，如何邀请他人共同参与活动，也是本课学习的内容之一。
二、学情分析
一般将来时态对于学生来讲是初次接触，但是学生对本课谈论的话题有着丰富的生活体验，且所学新知“一般将来时态”具有较强的规律性，在语法教学中比较容易掌握。学生通过感知、体验、观察、总结，不难形成个人的新知体系。
三、教学目标：
•能听、说、读短语：have school, a plan for the weekend, see a Beijing Opera, by the way, go to the concert, see a play；
•能运用句型：What are/am/is …going to do? I am/He(She) is/We(They) are going to … Is/Are … going to ….? Yes/No…询问和交流周末活动安排。
•能运用日常交际用语：Would you like to join …? Shall we meet at … ?以邀请他人共同参与活动安排；
·能描述课文人物及自己的周末计划；
•能朗读课文，概述课文内容；
·能积极主动地运用英语进行思维。
四、教学重难点：
教学重点：

五、教学过程：
Step1 Preparation
T：（课前播放一组人们周末活动的照片）
【设计意图：以图文并茂的形式向学生输入语言信息，让学生储存更多的、更丰富的语言素材，以便于在下个环节更加有效地进行语言输出。而且，在一堂课的开始阶段，学生还没有完全进入上课状态，当学生欣赏着精彩的照片，聆听着优美的旋律，学习的有意注意很快就被调动起来了。】

【设计意图：开门见山，直奔主题。当学生的兴趣被精彩的照片所激发时，这个开放性的提问顿时激活了每个学生的思维，学生在不知不觉的猜测过程中就已经尝试运用了本课的目标语言。】

【设计意图：英语与语文学科有着本质的相似，所以在英语的阅读教学中，我们可以充分借鉴语文教学方法，重视引导学生通过不同形式的朗读，掌握文本。关于谈论周末计划的问句是本课学习的重点，当学生完成这项活动任务时，就意味着已经读懂并基本把握目标语言。】

【设计意图：教师设计的教学活动应该从学生的生活实际出发，因为生活本身就是学习的素材。此处设计的QQ聊天内容，其实就是“根据课文内容，完成填空”这个练习，不同的形式，往往可以使相同的教学活动获得不同的教学效果。学生在模拟的QQ聊天活动中，兴致很高，教师比较轻松地达成了预期的教学目标。】
