 四年级学生思维活跃，已具有了一定了英语听、说、读、写能力，在已有的学习经历中，学习成就感和自信心的体验让多数同学逐步形成了稳定的学习兴趣。随着年龄的增长，这个阶段的学生不再热衷于简单的体力活动而更偏爱有挑战的思维活动，学生的个体差异也使两极分化现象逐步明显。根据学生的特点和《英语课程标准》的要求，本阶段应在继续抓好听、说、读、写四项基本技能训练的同时，培养学生的学习兴趣和自信心，增强他们的语言应用能力、阅读理解能力和自主学习能力。

教学目标

1）四会掌握单词watch、teapot、hairdryer、mirror、comb、wallet；

2）四会掌握句型Whose … is it / are they?及其正确回答；

3）理解名词性物主代词的用法并能熟练地进行运用和操练；

4）能用英语表述物体的所属，并能日常生活中运用所学的知识。
