教学目标

语言知识与技能

1.能够准确理解并朗读astronaut, football player, dancer, pianist, scientist,artist等职业类名词,以及care about, come true, take care of等与职业内容相关的短语表达能够会读,理解 “What do you want to be in the future? I want to (be) ...语言表达形式的意义和功能。

2.能够正确、连贯地朗读课文,基于文本理解职业选择与个人兴趣爱好的关联性

情感态度体会拥有梦想职业的意义,生发对未来美好生活的憧憬。

学习策略够积极参与学习过程,在与同伴合作的过程中巩固、丰富自己对文本的理解。在课堂交流中,注意倾听,积极思考。

文化意识确定并规划自己的梦想。

教学重点和难点

1.能熟练使用句型What do you want to be in the future?并掌握其回答方式进行操练,并正确地理解课文,朗读课文。

2.培养学生的发散性思维和语言表达能力。

教学过程

 

Step1. Warm up

1. Enjoy the song <What do you want to be?>

  What jobs can you hear in this song?

2. Look at this man, do you know? Hes a big hero. When he was young,he wanted to be a doctor. So being a doctor was his dream. Now his dream comes true.

【设计意图:通过一首关于职业的歌曲引出话题,并通过与学生谈论激活学生的旧知,为下一步学习进行铺垫。】

 

Step 2: Presentation

1.T: Look at the picture. Who are they? What are they talking about?

S: ...

T: Yes, they are going to talk about their dreams. Miss Li is asking the children about their dreams.

3. How does Miss Li ask about their dreams? Listen

What do you want to be in the future? Learn: future

4.What do the children want to be in the future? Watch and match (P80)

Liu Tao wants to be   a football player  

(Do you know other players?  A basketball player,a volleyball player,a tennis player)

Nancy wants to be   a writer    

Mike wants to be a dentist . 

Su Hai wants to be   a dancer    (Learn : dance——dancer)

Wang Bing wants to be    an astronaut 

(Astronauts can fly in space. Do you know any astronauts in China? Yang Liwei,Nie Haisheng,Liu Yang are great./cool. )

Yang Ling wants to be   a pianist  (pianist——piano)

6.Why do the boys have these dreams?  Read the story P78 and underline

Report: ...wants to be... Because ...

a:Mike wants to be a football play.Because many children dont care about their teeth.He wants to help them.  Learn: care about

We know Mike likes eating sweet foot.Once he had a toothache.The dentist helped him.From then on,Mike wanted to be a dentist. So we can see Mikes dream comes from his experience.

b:Wang Bing wants to be an astrotaut. Because he wants to fly a spaceship to the Moon.Learn:spaceship

The Moon always goes around the Earth. Wang Bing thinks its so proud to be an astronaut. 

c:Liu Tao wants to be a football player.Because he wants to play in the World Cup some day. What is World Cup? It means a football match.

Liu Tao is good at playing football. So we can see Liu Taos dream comes from his strong point.

7. Just then we knew girls dreams.Su Hai wants to be a dancer.Nancy wants to be a writer.Yang Ling wants to be a pianist. Why do the girls have these dreams?

Learning tips: 1.Read the story P79 and underline the key sentences.读书29页并划出关键句。2.Ask and answer with your partner.同桌问答。

A: What does ...want to be in the future?

B: She wants to be a...

A: Why does she have this dream?

B: Because 

Yang Ling likes playing the piano. So her dream comes from her hobby.

8. We talked about the boys and girls’ dreams a lot. Whats Miss Lis dream?

【设计意图:通过观看动画,让学生完成人物和梦想职业的配对题,从而整体感知语篇,然后精读故事,通过讨论为什么获取细节,准确地理解故事内容。】

 

Step 3  Consolidation

1.Practice the reading

2.Choose one way to retell the story:1. 四人一组,一人是Miss Li, 其余是学生,以问答的形式复述课文。2.. 四人一组,以第三人称的形式复述课文,轮流介绍。

【设计意图:正确模仿语音语调,培养学生的语感。根据板书的提示,在老师的帮助学生尝试复述故事,以加深对故事的理解合作过程中学生互帮互助,灵活地运用所学的语言并能表达自己的想法

3.Every dream has its trace.Mike likes eating sweet foot very much.The dentist helped him. Mikes dream comes from his experience.Liu Tao is good at playing football.  Liu Taos dream comes from his strong point.Yang Ling likes playing the piano. So her dream comes from her hobby.

4.We should have own dream.Maybe one day youll be a doctor ,like Dr.Zhong,be a pianist,like Lang Lang,be an astronaut ,like Liu Yang.

Dream big, start small.

梦想远大,脚踏实地。

4. Watch a video 

  What does the story tell us ? Can you tell this story with sentences?

Please stick to your hobbies.

 1. Listen to the tape and read and recite the text.

 2. Talk about your dreams with your friends and parents.
