【教学目标】

一、知识与技能:

1. 能从口头到笔头,介绍自己理想的职业;

2. 能通读课外故事《Froggy’s New Job》,并理解故事隐含的思想;

3. 能听懂、认读和简单运用故事中出现的几个重要词汇:want to be/do...;be afraid of doing;be (not) good at doing;be brave;fly an aeroplane;a pilot;a star;save 等;

二、过程与方法:通过拓展课外阅读,进一步活用、巩固单元重点语法,即动词在一般现在时态中的形态。

三、情感态度与价值观:能通读课外故事《Froggy’s New Job》,并理解故事隐含的思想。

【教学重点】

【教学过程】

引入新课

Step1. Preparation

T:Today a new animal friend comes to our class.Who is he?

Ss:(Read and guess:

He is in green.He has four legs.He likes singing, jumping and swimming. And he can swim very well.)

T:Yes, a frog. Let’s call him ‘Froggy’.

Ss:(Learn to say ‘Froggy’.)

T:Froggy wants to be your friend.So he wants to talk with you.

Ss:(Listen and respond:

1.Nice to meet you, friend.

  2.How many people are there in your family?

  3.Do you have brothers or sisters?

  4.What do your parents do?

  5.What can you do?

1.T:Froggy has a job.What’s his job? Or what does he do?

Ss:(Read the first part freely.)

T:(Write on the blackboard:pilot, fly an aeroplane; be afraid of flying)

S:(Read the second part.)
