Step1. Warm up

1. What day is it  today? What date is it today?(面向全班同学,齐答)

2. T: Good morning, Im fine, how are you today?

  S: Im fine too. Thank you.

T: Look at them. Are they fine too?(出示Su Hai和Mike的图片)

Ss: No. 新授They are ill.

T: So they have to see the doctor.新授短语see the doctor引出课题

Step2. Presentation

1. Read and choose: Whats wrong with them?根据同学们的选择,板书新授headache, fever, toothache及句型She/He has a ...

2. Read and answer: What should Su Hai do?

(1) 引导学生复习上单元语音板块的sh的发音,结合would的发音,新授should,并讲解should的用法

(2) 根据学生回答,板书新授have a rest,并渗透have a lot of rest, have a good rest;新授短语take some medicine和drink some warm water

(3) T: Can we drink hot water or cold water?渗透hot water和cold water,再次强调warm water

3. Read and answer: What should Mike not do? What should Mike do?

(1) 根据学生回答,新授shouldnt=should not,及短语eat too many sweets

(2) 根据学生回答,新授短语brush his teeth,板书渗透teeth原形tooth,foot复数feet;渗透短语原形brush ones teeth并翻译相应词组;新授短语before bedtime

(3) T: From here, we know how many times should Mike brush his teeth every day? Do you brush your teeth two times a day?
